CORRECTED: Verizon To Pay ASCAP $5M Interim Music License Fee

Law360, New York (September 28, 2009) -- Verizon Wireless has agreed to pay the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers an interim license fee of more than $5 million for songs the phone service provider uses in all its music services, including ring tones, while the two sides continue to debate how much the group should receive for its tunes.
